Create your own disasterpiece with our bad art program! If you have a talent for making terrible art, this program is for you! 1 teen and 1 adult will win a prize for the best bad art, so bring your bad art game and make a mess to impress!

This is a take and make-at-home program. 8” x 10” canvases will be available for pickup at the adult circulation desk from June 15th, 2026 through June 26th, 2026. The canvases are available on a first come/ first serve basis, while supplies last. This program is for adults and teens age 13 and up. 

Requirements to participate:

• You must be 13 or older
• Artwork must fit on an 8” x 10" canvas provided by the library
• Canvas must be able to sit up right (must be able to prop up against a wall)
• Artwork must be made with materials that are non-perishable
• Canvases must be returned by 8:15pm, on July 2nd 2026

A celebration will be held for the bad participants and winners on July 8th, 2026. Refreshments will be provided and there will be a bad art scavenger hunt for anyone who wants to participate. Registration is not required.
