Tom Smith is the feature. For decades, Tom has been a treasured singer/songwriter in the New England folk scene and beyond. His songs are polished, accessible and profound. His guitar fingerpicking and harmonica riffs provide a breezy counterpoint to his lyrics. Susan Cattaneo nails it, “Tom’s got a special kind of quiet magic”. Here’s a live-video taste, The Money Flows Up, recorded at the Rose Garden. Take this opportunity to hear Tom Smith at our small, informal venue.

LOMA Open Mike is a monthly event. We have a sound system with mikes and instrumental pickups suitable for individuals or small groups playing acoustic-style. Kenny Selcer ably handles the sound. You are encouraged to sign up well in advance. We expect everyone will have a chance to perform, but in case of overflow, the first 21 performers to sign up will be given priority.
