A Caribbean coming-of-age classic in the tradition of Sugar Cane Alley, GREEN DAYS BY THE RIVER is adapted from Michael Anthony's acclaimed 1967 novel by the same name. Set in 1952 in a remote coastal village in Trinidad, 15-yeard-old Shellie follows a kindhearted Indian planter to work on his plantation along the river as he pursues the affection of two girls in a lasting tale of young love and loss.  Official Selection at the Seattle International Film Festival. Winner of Best Film at the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival.
