Georgia : A novel of Georgia O'Keeffe by Dawn Tripp

This historically based work looks at the corner of the American art world in the early part of the twentieth century that was occupied by Georgia O'Keeffe and her lover, Alfred Stieglitz. Her unconventional paintings captured his attention and he captured her heart, but their relationship both helped and hurt her artistic career. Alfred took pictures of Georgia with and without clothes, the latter causing a stir that drew both positive and negative attention to her art. The plot chronicles their story from love to marriage to the place beyond where Georgia finally settled in New Mexico and created her famous abstract landscapes. Books & Authors
