War Dances by Sherman Alexie

In War Dances, author Sherman Alexie presents a collection of short stories and poems offering unique insights into the nature of humanity. Both witty and wrenching, this volume examines the human condition in all its unkempt glory. "The Ballad of Paul Nonetheless" centers on a clothing store proprietor who has fallen out of love with his wife. "Fearful Symmetry" is the tale of a rising show business screenwriter. The title piece chronicles the experiences of a Native American writer as he realizes, for the very first time, the close proximity of death. Books & Authors
